Although Skellefteå buss can take no responsibility for the content on their web site.

Our app, on the other hand, has real-time information so that you can see how much time is left until the bus arrives at your particular bus stop.

The local bus network consists of three zones and you pay a ticket depending on which zones you travel between. The price of the ticket also depends on your age and what kind of ticket you buy (single fare tickets, period travel cards, discount travel cards and credit travel cards and so on) and how you by it.

Webshop
In the webshop, you can quickly and easily top up your bus card from home. The more people who buy digital tickets in advance, the shorter the queues for the bus and the faster the journey. Nice, right?

To be able to use the webshop, you need a plastic bus card that you either bought on board the bus or at Skellefteå bus station. A new bus card comes with a cost of SEK 25, then you can refill it continuously.

In the webshop, you first create a user and then follow the simple instructions. On the back of your bus card you will find a number that you register to be able to top up the card with your desired content. You also add the debit card you want to use to pay for the trips. Upon registration, SEK 10 is deducted from your bank card to check validity. This will then be refunded automatically within a few days. It takes a maximum of 3 hours from the time you load the card in the webshop until it can be used on the bus. The money is deducted from your account immediately, but the bus card is only charged when you use it on the bus. That is the reason why you can not after 3 hours log in to the webshop and check the bus card balance, it can only be done after being used on the bus first.
